The Mercantour territory

With a length of 150 km, the territory extends over six valleys in the Southern Alps and covers two departments of France: the Alpes-Maritimes for about two-thirds of its surface, and the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. The crystalline massif of the Mercantour National Park has valleys filled with the scents of the Mediterranean, Provence, the Alps and Italy. Verdon, Cians-Var, Ubaye, Tinée, Vésubie and Roya-Bévéra: each valley has its own distinct character!

The Mercantour Écotourisme association, as its name suggests, develops ecotourism, a form of responsible travel in natural areas that contributes to the protection of the environment and the well-being of local populations. Alongside the Mercantour National Park, it is a member of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism (ECST).

Their values, their background

La Villa Lorenzo, édifiée au XIXe siècle, a été acquise en 2023 par Clothilde Chapuis. Suite à une restauration soignée menée par des artisans locaux, elle en a fait un lieu élégant et authentique, propice au ressourcement et à la reconnexion à l’essentiel. Forte d’un parcours dans l’hôtellerie et la restauration, notamment au sein d’établissements haut de gamme, elle insuffle à la maison une exigence et un sens de l’accueil remarqués.Son restaurant bistronomique, membre du Collège Culinaire de France, témoigne de son engagement pour le goût et les produits de qualité.

À travers la Villa Lorenzo, elle propose une expérience sincère, alliant art de vivre, terroir et respect du territoire.
