The Mercantour territory

With a length of 150 km, the territory extends over six valleys in the Southern Alps and covers two departments of France: the Alpes-Maritimes for about two-thirds of its surface, and the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. The crystalline massif of the Mercantour National Park has valleys filled with the scents of the Mediterranean, Provence, the Alps and Italy. Verdon, Cians-Var, Ubaye, Tinée, Vésubie and Roya-Bévéra: each valley has its own distinct character!

The Mercantour Écotourisme association, as its name suggests, develops ecotourism, a form of responsible travel in natural areas that contributes to the protection of the environment and the well-being of local populations. Alongside the Mercantour National Park, it is a member of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism (ECST).

Their values, their background

Le Relais des Merveilles est une entreprise familiale ouverte depuis 1985 sur la commune de Belvédère. Tout d'abord ouvert par mes parents et ensuite repris par moi-même.

Le restaurant et le gîte de groupe sont situés dans le Parc National du Mercantour en bordure de la rivière de la Gordolasque. Nous avons développé notre activité progressivement au cours des années.

You will be delighted by our home-made dishes with fresh products. Gnocchi and ravioli served with spinach, nettle soup, grilled trout and not to forget the home-made pastries.
