The Mercantour territory

With a length of 150 km, the territory extends over six valleys in the Southern Alps and covers two departments of France: the Alpes-Maritimes for about two-thirds of its surface, and the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. The crystalline massif of the Mercantour National Park has valleys filled with the scents of the Mediterranean, Provence, the Alps and Italy. Verdon, Cians-Var, Ubaye, Tinée, Vésubie and Roya-Bévéra: each valley has its own distinct character!

The Mercantour Écotourisme association, as its name suggests, develops ecotourism, a form of responsible travel in natural areas that contributes to the protection of the environment and the well-being of local populations. Alongside the Mercantour National Park, it is a member of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism (ECST).

Their values, their background

Hélène en hiver est monitrice de ski à la station de montagne de la Colmiane située à 15mn du village de Saint Martin Vésubie et l'été en tant qu' accompagnatrice en montagne diplômée d'état,  elle vous fera découvrir les magnifiques chemins de randonnées de sa région et du Parc national du Mercantour.

Gîte d'étape La Rouguière

Gite d'étape situé en plein cœur du village de Saint-Martin-Vésubie, commune du Parc national du Mercantour.

Le gîte est constitué de deux niveau le rez-de-chaussée comprenant un local de rangement pour votre matériel de montage ou autres, une cuisine et une salle avec cheminée plus des toilettes.

A l'étage, il y a 3 chambres plus deux douches, deux lavabos et des toilettes. 

Maximum 14 personnes avec possibilité sur demande de privatiser une chambre à partir d'une personne.
