The Mercantour territory

With a length of 150 km, the territory extends over six valleys in the Southern Alps and covers two departments of France: the Alpes-Maritimes for about two-thirds of its surface, and the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. The crystalline massif of the Mercantour National Park has valleys filled with the scents of the Mediterranean, Provence, the Alps and Italy. Verdon, Cians-Var, Ubaye, Tinée, Vésubie and Roya-Bévéra: each valley has its own distinct character!

The Mercantour Écotourisme association, as its name suggests, develops ecotourism, a form of responsible travel in natural areas that contributes to the protection of the environment and the well-being of local populations. Alongside the Mercantour National Park, it is a member of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism (ECST).

Their values, their background

Je vis à Valberg depuis que je suis né. Durant mon enfance, j'accompagne mon père en moyenne montagne lors de ses randonnées. C'est de là que vient mon appréciation de ce milieu et l'idée de le photographier au sol et dans les airs, dans le but de partager cette beauté.​

Le drone, qui permet de prendre des images, est une révélation pour moi. Il nous permet d'élever notre regard au dessus de nous même, de nous transcender.
